Colored Up.

Need to freshen up my mood today. It's been a tiring week for me. Stressed out, perhaps? Oh well, at least these colors put a smile on my face. For now :D

Royals.

Loved every detail of The Royal Wedding. From the glowing bride, to the beautiful simple dress. Oh, and of course the church! It was like watching a fairytale.

Baby-Whitey.

I fell in love more and more each day, with my baby-whitey. I've just noticed that the camera could do such cool effects such as multiple exposure! OMG. Hahaha! Call me tacky, but I love her. And since I'm not a real camera freak, this is so handy! Love all the art filter effects. Happy, happy, happy! :D

Can't wait to meet my brothers in the other half of the world with this whitey! Goodnight! Furniture History is still waiting.

Dentsflow.

It's been too long since I wrote my last post on the blog. Well, if you're a constant reader (HA HA HA), then you'd know that I've been avoiding writing whenever I'm super busy (read: assignments and all). But oh well, it's been very surprising week for me - and I'm trying to keep my chin up to be happy until the rest of the week :D

Anyways, on. . . Tuesday? Yes, Tuesday. Met Alia and her fellow band-mates. As they're all taking dentistry, they call themselves as DENTSFLOW (dents = dentists, duh? Haha!). I was 'kidnapped' from the Southern part of Jakarta that I know quite well, to an area in the Western part of Jakarta. Which made me totally blind. Oh by the way, the food was great though.

Anyways, the tunes that they were making was pretty alright, and they covered songs from artists like Parkdrive, Maliq & D'Essentials, and so on. Oh! Loved Chrisye's cover of "Cintaku", and hopefully they could master Breakbot's "Baby I'm Yours".

My dearest friend Alia, as you know, is the most prettiest beat-maker ever (read; drummer). And the post is for her and her friends (including my new friend Steven, which I had a post about his tunes before here), as I promised to write a single post about DENTSFLOW.

Oh, it was the first time Alia met the XZ-1. Who wouldn't fell in love with my baby-whitey? Hihihi.

Complementary Triads.

Complementary colors are so pretty and I just love the Natural Color System that was published by the Scandinavian Color Institute.

Oh, had a great hunt for these things. I'm gonna make something out of the recycled wrapping paper.

The day had been so colorful, I'd just have to put some BWs somewhere . . . Goodnight!

Cuteness.

And now this simple cute illustration guide is worth to try for those of you who wants to increase your cuteness level. Hahaha!

Hairs.

I've never had long hair before, and up till now, this is the longest hair I have ever maintain. Mommy always cut my hair short since little and it made people think I am a 'tomboy'. Well, yes - being close to my brothers really made me to join in the world of boys. But anyway, as time goes by, the inner feminine of me shines out (haha!).

And now I can have these pretty messy buns and braids! If only, I could do this on my own though.

Oh well, braiding my hair to have a wavy texture by tomorrow - cause having a straight hair everyday is boring, especially after you wash your hair. Hahaha. And I know, this is a very random post. Goodnight.

In. A. Craft?

Hm. I don't have any thing to do, well. . . Correction: I am LAZY to do any work-related today. Well, at least for now. Anyways, I think I'm gonna write about the trip to INACRAFT on Thursday - just like I promised in the previous post before.

There are loads of interesting new things that are quirky enough to caught my attention. As I love treasure hunting, especially in this house, this pile of vintage cutouts caught my attention as I entered the Plenary Hall. I love this vintage booth that sells everything from the era colonial of Dutch Indies, towards the New Order, and up till. . . I don't know. Oh well.

Anyways, as usual you could see loads of booths that sell batiks and stuff. Bought one for Uti. Oh, and bought some table lamps for Uti, as well. Ha ha! Oh, the fact that I'm taking Environmental Lighting class, going to the exhibit surely opened my eyes for the next assignment - that is to actually made a real lamp! Yeay, I love making models :D

Oh, when I was looking around at this booth that provides chic designs of rattan & batik bags, the woman came up to me . . . "You look like a designer. Are you?" Ha ha! And there it goes, I started to talk about who am I, yada yada yada. She said that she has friends who are in the interior and architect area, and so we exchange contact numbers and so on. Please take a look at the web! But the bags that I was talking about, isn't updated yet to the web, and how stupid of me to forgot to take a little picture of the bags. Hm, oh well. Oh, bought this cute blazer with a great deal, which I also get acquainted to the owner/designer :D

What else, what else, what else?? OH! Found a really cute little wardrobe-ish kinda type. Well, what I had in mind is to put all the bits and pieces and all that things in here. But. . . yeah, I haven't got the time to re-organize my jewel box.

Anyways, I don't really know what I need to tell again. I'd better eat cause this tummy grumbles. I'll talk to you later.

P.S - I found this new and exciting creative studio from Jogjakarta, it's called Nantinya. I love their leather bags. And better yet, it's not that pricey! Go check it out :D
