Lost Track.

Ha! Oh wow. It's been almost 2 full weeks since I last touched my blog. Well, yes not literally - perhaps "since I last logged in" might be more suitable.

Well anyways, I've been very busy during the past few weeks, and a lot of things were happening which made me lost track of time and day. Missed a couple of lunches, which made me woozy for a couple of days - and felt like a real zombie. Therefore, I haven't had the slightest hour to update this blog of mine. Plus, I wasn't in my writing mood as well. I was more in the phase of . . . planning. Planning the future. Ha!!

Have been MIA as well in the world of Instagram - which I really miss the most. I was really occupied and didn't got the time to . . . capture quirky details, which I love to share on my account. Oh well.

Oh and yes, since I'm bringing home some of my work from the office (which is being chased by deadlines), I'm writing this post with my laptop! It has been ages since I last use this laptop of mine. I miss using this laptop, and working on AutoCAD. At home. Now I remember my college days, back then. And in a few weeks time I'm starting again!

Oh well. I should really get some sleep.

Date Night.

Last night, we went to this cozy space called The Straits Canteen, in Dharmawangsa Square. At first, I didn't know what kind of food they were serving, cause from the place . . . it looked so . . . industrial . . . with an eclectic touch of some classics. So therefore, I was assuming that they are one of those European-y/bistro/cafe kinda place. Well, I guess from what I saw from their menu, I guess they somewhat may be classified as a 'kopitiam'. You know, Malay/Singaporean-ish traditional coffee shop thingy. Ha, ha.

Please do mind these photos that were taken from the babyphone, cause the resolutions might not be sharp enough. Oh, and also the fact that I actually took them while seated, cause I wasn't really in the mood to take pictures. (Duh? Like, obviously? I was busy enjoying my Saturday night date with my man *teehee*)

So anyways, hopefully you had a great week. Tomorrow, some new adventure awaits!

Genius.

Hello! How are you doing lately? I haven't been in the fittest condition for the past few days, *sigh. But on the bright side, I did get better when I finally met my man again last night! Yay!

Okay, so anyways . . . I had the chance to take a look at this year's ICAD exhibition in Grand Kemang, with my work-fellas! Well, a little fyi . . . Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design is the first exhibition that collaborates between design, art, technology, entertainment, and hospitality industries. It involves interior designers, graphic designers, photographers, videographers, painters, sculptors, writers and culinary experts. (Well, basically the whole information that you've just read was from their website here, ha ha!)

Had so much fun exploring the creativity that our nation's young generation could really do. Met some great designers, with their fresh and inspiring minds, who are really warm and friendly! Well, these are just some of my favorites from the exhibition.

Fixielight is amazing, by the way. The light would automatically turns on just by a slight touch on the wheel rail. Well I don't really know what's the proper word for it though, cause I'm not into fixies and all those things. Ha! I guess it's the rail of the wheel, so therefore = wheel rail? Ha, ha. Anyways . . . some really cool stuff. Would totally buy it if it's being mass-product!

And this Dakon seaters, that is built by recycled tins and cans. Well, from the name itself, you might spot where's the inspiration comes from . . . yes, by the Javanese congklak, or . . . yeah, dakon (obviously). The designer of this art piece, Harry Purwanto, is very welcoming and kind. He showed us around to some of the art pieces in that are being exhibited . . . and told us things, on what's behind each piece, the background, the whole idea, and all of those other sorts.

We then continued the day by a lunch at Moe's Place at Jl. Benda, and had a quick peek at the art space Dia.Lo.Gue which was really cool as well. There's an exhibition of Jazz Pasay that is still on until the 16th. Oh. Really love the architecture by Andra Matin. Well, or so I guess. Pardon me if I'm wrong, though.

Anyways, 'twas a fun day indeed. I should get going on this little project of mine that has to be done by tomorrow. WHICH, I haven't even start. PLUS, will have a little visit at a site project tomorrow. Working on a Saturday. Yay. Great.

See you!

Family Time.

Since my man is up in the air throughout the weekend, I spent my weekend with the family. Yay!

On Saturday, I had a really lovely day-out with my lovable nieces, whom I have longed for meeting them! Had a lunch at Kampoeng Aer, played with them under the sun - and yes, due to the hot weather and I didn't had the chance to put some sunscreen on, I think I burnt myself. Ha. But oh well, it doesn't really matter. Had some really fun moments, and yes some pretty naive conversations that tingled me! I really love spending my time with my family, especially with these particular nieces of mine. They are so . . . adorable, and yet lovable!

The day went up till late at night, when we then had a stroll around at the mall. I had so much fun taking care of them, although it was pretty tiring. And yes, to be honest, I can't really wait till I have my own! If you know what I mean. Ha, ha!!! But anyways, all of the tiredness and all that were paid off by a quick salon time and a self-scrub at home afterwards!

As for today, had a lunch after church with the big family, of my dad's side, at JW Marriott's Sailendra. Well, not all of my family were there, but it was nice to catch up with others.

So anyways. . . I'm not feeling quite well since I woke up this morning. Been sneezing and my throat's hurting me until now. Guess I should really get some sleep. Goodnight.

Come What May.

Is it just me, or do you think that time flies real fast these days? Like . . . in turbo speed. I mean, come on, it's May already? Wow. One more month till I'll blow my candles! Keep that in mind, please. Ha, ha!!

I had the very precious moment to start this new month! And that is by finally meeting my man, yay! Though it was only for a couple of minutes in the morning, it was surely a . . . moodbooster to start the month!

Well honestly, I don't have much more to say. Perhaps I just miss blogging at night. Which I don't know if this is actually being read or not. Ha. Anyways, hope you'll have a great, greaaaaaaaat May!
