V&R Marriage.

Just found out that Viktor & Rolf have released their newest collection of bridal wear! Found it on their Facebook page here, thanks to Mas Johann. Well, these are just lovely. Simple fine lines, and cuttings. So pure and clean. Love love love.

But I think I would have to think twice if I wear this kind of thing for my wedding. Family, etc. you know. Ha ha ha.

Activities.

Hi! Have been off from the world of blog since, I don't know when. Well, now I'm back on track and hopefully can update this blog every now and then. Since I've finished my studies, I'm now lingering around the house and have some freelance work going on. I'm not that '9 to 5' kind of person, therefore I'm more into the 'work-from-home' kind of . . . designer? HA HA!

I'm currently doing some graphic design work, but then I miss all the interior brainstorming thingy going on. Well, my grandfather has asked me to revamp his messy workspace. Oh well, we'll see.

Anyways, I'm doing my best to stay fit and healthy in Jakarta. Since we have to go to places by car, therefore I kinda miss walking. Just had an early morning run with mommy. Well, with her by my side, I couldn't really run. I jogged. She was already exhausted when it was not only a block far, ha ha. Oh well, I should run by my own then.

Found a new app over on the app store, regarding photo editing! It's called Rhonna Designs - which I felt in love instantly! So pretty and it's already all-in-one. You can check her website here! Love her fonts and print designs, so chic-ly beautiful :)

Was so psyched then found myself occupied with all the basic edits that I did over breakfast, *teehee!

Major.

So, okay . . . Since I'm not doing anything at the moment, which I should though, I'm spending a wee bit of the time to blog. Yay! As I'm doing my final major studio project, it feels like I don't have an extra time to update the blog.

As what I believe in, our purpose in life is for God. All glory is for Him, and all the little things that happen in our lives are because of Him. Therefore, from what I've been longed to do and what I've been wanting to do is to worship and glorify Him through all of my works - I'll be designing a Christian Center for the youth. From all of the things that God gave to me, I'd like to dedicate and give my final and foremost important project to Him.

Well, at first I wanted to design a church, but I've changed my mind and I know this is the wisdom from God, therefore I'll be designing a center which is for faith & character building in Christ. It creates a more complexed and broader design field, therefore it's where the challenge is.

Anyways, I have to stop writing because if I don't, I'll be procrastinating and forget all the drawings that I have to make, ha ha! Will be watching Olympus Has Fallen later on, wow right? HA HA!

Have a good day!

Pen & Paper.

While I was supposed to have done my Christmas shopping during the day . . . I ended up buying this for my own. Ha, ha. Can't simply resist to say no to great paperbacks - moreover, hardbacks! I just love books. Love its smell. Its paper texture and its thickness is simply flawless . . . HA HA!

Well anyways, might as well dropping by to kikki.K once again sometime this week. Got a $10 off voucher through the email! Yay! What should I buy . . .

Buzz.

So here it goes again. Me, unable to post some writings for the blog. So sad. It literally makes me lost in words. Oh well.

Anyways, have been doing lots of works, I'm telling you. Seriously. Aches here and there. I really need a good massage. And a lulur will help! Ha, ha! Oh how I miss home. I miss everyone back home! :( And of course, I do really miss my . . . wardrobe and shoes collection! Ha, ha! But it's true . . . (trying to cheer myself here, so bear with me for a while please?)

I am getting tanner, I guess. Well, not tan, scratch that. Burnt. Not good. The nose is tanner than the other face parts. Grrrr. Will I really would put extra sunscreen on the nose, just like those lifeguards by the beach? Oh why do I have to imagine Baywatch right about now? Ha!! I seriously need to pamper myself. But the question is . . . when? Blisters are decorating my feet. But oh well, I am sure these . . . experience (no, I don't want to use . . . negative words, ha ha) will bring a valuable outcome in the . . . near future!

I should really spend just a little time on this blog. Have been spending time at the . . . National Library! Yay! Fun! . . . . Not really though. I wanna go shopping!!! Oh, this reminds me! Can't wait till Kakung and Uti come and visit the city at the end of the week! Yay! Good food and good . . . clothes, AND SHOES, I'm guessing? *teehee*

Both are from River Island

So . . . what else . . . Oh, okay. Research. Currently doing a research on Kengo Kuma. And yes, I don't really like to bore you with some of his background and whatnots. But I guess I should say that he's one of the . . . best. In my humble opinion that is. Well, his pioneers as well though. Really love how he combines different materials to create not only for its aesthetics but also its functions. Oh how I wish I have great minds like brainy architects. Ha, ha!

Pics are from 1, 2, 3

Oh. Just found this work of his. I so wanna go to this Starbucks in Dazaifu, Japan. Super . . . wow-ing.

Images are from here

Oh well. I really wanna go to sleep right now and meet my man Boggie in the land of dreams, *teehee. But I guess I should continue MORE of my assignments. Have a great week!

Genius.

Hello! How are you doing lately? I haven't been in the fittest condition for the past few days, *sigh. But on the bright side, I did get better when I finally met my man again last night! Yay!

Okay, so anyways . . . I had the chance to take a look at this year's ICAD exhibition in Grand Kemang, with my work-fellas! Well, a little fyi . . . Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design is the first exhibition that collaborates between design, art, technology, entertainment, and hospitality industries. It involves interior designers, graphic designers, photographers, videographers, painters, sculptors, writers and culinary experts. (Well, basically the whole information that you've just read was from their website here, ha ha!)

Had so much fun exploring the creativity that our nation's young generation could really do. Met some great designers, with their fresh and inspiring minds, who are really warm and friendly! Well, these are just some of my favorites from the exhibition.

Fixielight is amazing, by the way. The light would automatically turns on just by a slight touch on the wheel rail. Well I don't really know what's the proper word for it though, cause I'm not into fixies and all those things. Ha! I guess it's the rail of the wheel, so therefore = wheel rail? Ha, ha. Anyways . . . some really cool stuff. Would totally buy it if it's being mass-product!

And this Dakon seaters, that is built by recycled tins and cans. Well, from the name itself, you might spot where's the inspiration comes from . . . yes, by the Javanese congklak, or . . . yeah, dakon (obviously). The designer of this art piece, Harry Purwanto, is very welcoming and kind. He showed us around to some of the art pieces in that are being exhibited . . . and told us things, on what's behind each piece, the background, the whole idea, and all of those other sorts.

We then continued the day by a lunch at Moe's Place at Jl. Benda, and had a quick peek at the art space Dia.Lo.Gue which was really cool as well. There's an exhibition of Jazz Pasay that is still on until the 16th. Oh. Really love the architecture by Andra Matin. Well, or so I guess. Pardon me if I'm wrong, though.

Anyways, 'twas a fun day indeed. I should get going on this little project of mine that has to be done by tomorrow. WHICH, I haven't even start. PLUS, will have a little visit at a site project tomorrow. Working on a Saturday. Yay. Great.

See you!

Weekly Wallpaper.

I know that the day was started with a very gloomy and rainy weather, but I hope we'll make it through the day with lots of energy and excitement! Today's the last day of April, and I really do hope you'll have a very productive day ahead!

Here's my weekly desktop wallpaper to keep me motivated and excited during the week! Oh a small little tip: you should change your desktop wallpaper (especially in your office, ha ha) every now and then, it surely helps to keep you motivated and . . . 'alive'!

Wallpaper is from here

Have a great week!

Weekly Wallpaper.

Have been away so long for the past few weeks, didn't opened Blogger for quite some time as well - and wow, the layout have changed! I kinda miss the old layout of Blogger, though. Matter of fact, I like the old one better. Hm. Oh well.

I'm about to say "sorry for the few posts" - but then, I realized that I've said those words quite often within the past few months. Anyways, I think I'm going to have this . . . 'project' (sort of though), well . . . it's more of "a-thing-that-would-keep-me-active-in-blog-writing" I should say.

I once did 'Quote of the Day's  - but it wasn't really effective and last long, I hope that this "Weekly Desktop Wallpaper" thingy would be an interesting one. Yay! So, here it is . . . my computer at the office! Anyways, found this wallpaper from The Fox is Black.

Anyways, should get back to work! Cheers for now.

Minty.

Hello! Hope you guys are doing fabulous. For me, well . . . the sun has been shining quite hard for these couple of days, and not to mention about the whole riots which have been decorating the city (and the country) for the past few days. Glad that my Kakung is not in town, if he's here, I'm sure he'll be watching the TV 24/7. Hm . . . Anyways, I've been doing these lovely moodboards (per room) for the concept of an apartment project. Well, these are just some of the works that I did though - I don't want to spoil the magic, HA HA!

Since the whole concept or theme is around the color mint-green, this surely made me crave for some mint-chocolate chip ice cream, which I had after lunch today! Yay! Oh by the way, I don't actually know what's the relation of designing a concept with my food cravings . . .

Hm . . . What else to share . . . I've been missing so much stuff amongst the world of Instagram. AND, of course . . . I miss catching up with my friends as well *sigh . . . Oh! Here's a little something-something:

Good night!

Updates.

Since there were these riots that were (and are still - I guess) happening in town, I worked from home for the past few days of the week - which I reaaaaalllyyyy love (and this includes for my future career plan, which is . . . pretty flexible, which is great - my dream job, really). Anyways . . . have been working for a new concept development for an apartment project.

Seriously . . . whenever I have a project to handle, mostly the clients that I got are newlyweds who are designing their homes, which includes their future baby's room. Yes. I seriously can't wait to design our own apartment. With the future nursery's room and all. HA HA!

Oh well . . . I don't think I have anything more to be shared. Perhaps, just a little photo of us attending a wedding last Sunday *teehee! Looks like I have to continue all the work. Oh, maybe I'll just write a little something for the company's blog!

Have a great sleep!

Stuff That Happened.

HELLO VIRTUAL WORLD!

Long time no . . . . talk, indeed. I've been SUPER BUSY lately and I do really apologize for the whole MIA thing going on, and not posting some new posts or whatever. Well, I hope you're still a fan of my blog . . . HA!

I've been caught up doing my final work for the Institute, all of the final presentation and report that have to be done. Oh by the way, tomorrow I'll be submitting my 153-paged final report - please do pray for me *teehee! Well . . . I would surely love to share an online-version of my report in here (cause it's really cheery and happy and reflects me as a designer - not bragging here, but true. Ha, ha!!!), but the web is toooooo broad and I just don't want to spill my works that easy (you know, privacy kind of stuff, and as well as plagiarism and yadda yadda yadda). Well, I'll think of something, though.

A lot of stuff happened during the past few weeks, and I just miss . . . shopping. YES. I really want to buy a new pair of shoes. . . like, pronto!!! Had a nice lunch with mommy at our usual Bakerzin and finished off with a lovely strawberry soufflé (new menu - worth to try!)

Anyways, after the whole eatery, we went and looked around some shops. Have been alluring to buy . . . SOMETHING (just like the blog's name, HA!). Well, as I'm a diehard shoe-fan, I've been browsing around some shops to buy some new ones for the collection. As time went by . . . I ended up empty handed, cause there were too many choices to pick from! Ha, ha!

Just look at these babies . . . . they're so flirty and I just can't resist. It'll be lovely if these babies magically poofs right in front of my front door!

Shoes are from: Anthropologie, Steve Madden, Zara, Steve Madden found at Nasty Gal, and my most favorite local shoe brand - UP Shoes.

Wow. I'm putting all of these stuff under one post . . . and I've just realized I think this is my very first post with the largest number of labels to be classified. Ha, ha. Oh well, have a great night!
