What Happened?

Okay. It's time to blog. Again. My oh my. It's been ages, I know. I even had this urge to write, cause I was flicking and organizing through the images on the phone. Saw some pics about my blog, that seemed . . . so alive. Back in those days.

Then, since I'm lazy on this sort-of-gloomy Saturday afternoon in Jakarta, I just thought the brain needs to be functioned well. Plus, it's been a looooooooonnngggg time since my last post on the blog. Just need to . . . continue and pour my heart out. Ha!

What to write . . . Hm. Food? Okay. Well, had some yummy bites with the family during the stay in Jakarta. It's quite a bummer, since the invention of Path, I might say that I'm kinda lazy to take pics from the camera. Therefore, this laziness affects my blog writing as well. Ha ha, sorry.

Had a great time with the girlies the other day. Had some great chats, gossips, and laughs. Miss hanging out with them, and it always brings back good memories back in the junior high - and even through the primary years of our school time.

Okay. I'm really out of words right now, and Glenn Fredly's version of Malaikat Juga Tahu is really soothing. Makes me sleepy. Perhaps will hit the bed for a nap for a bit.

Burgers and Talks.

Had a really nice short holiday during last week, and yes I'm back in Singapore. Can't believe that it's only 4 more weeks (one month. YES, I repeat, one more month) till the term's finished! Wow. Time surely does fly so fast, eh?

So, what to write . . . Oh. Valentine's day! Let's get lovey-dovey here, please do mind. Anyways, we didn't had those 'romantic candle-light dinners' or what-so-ever. Neither do flowers or chocolates. Cause, hey, every day is valentine's day right? Well, it is to us though . . . *teehee

It was only the both of us, had Carl's Jr for dinner. Self karaoke-ing to Maroon 5's One More Night. Had a photo booth section. Oh here's a little something: we never had photo booth pictures. Ever. Since we were together. So it was pretty memorable :) Anyways, then we went to a fellowship where both sides' of our parents were there as well. Finished the day with hours of talk full of laughter and love.

What else . . . Oh! Well before valentine's day, my man Boggie bought me this lovely doff-textured orange case for my babymac! I really love the color and with my black and white case, it's so . . . cool. Ha! So it was some kind of a pre-valentine's gift I guess . . . *teehee. Oh, please do mind the phone, I just had to put it there cause I just love the combination. Ha ha!

First of the Last.

Since I moved to Singapore, I actually haven't got the time to really update this blog of mine. It's so sad, I know. Well, anyways . . . had the best-est night ever last night! Firstly, mommy asked me to have a conversation through Skype, but then I was watching The Lucky One (ha ha) - so I postponed it for a little while. But then . . . after I saw her . . . I saw my special man was sitting right beside her. Yes. It was sooooooo sweet  :") *teehee* Seeing him, bonding with the whole family . . . it was truly just what I needed. The best first anniversary present :")

Okay, moving on . . . It's already the best time of the year! For me it is. I just love when December comes. But when it comes to work . . . I only just have 20 days, more or less, to finish final projects of this term. I know that my mighty Lord Jesus will back me up in each and every step I make.

Bought this lovely diary from kikki.K to have a head start on next year's plans and all! So excited and I just can't wait! This is just too lovely, and they have some cute little stickers to put on to as well! And yeah, haven't really had my Christmas shopping, just hope that next week I'll have the time to do some shopping for the lovely peeps back home :)

Oh yes. To end the night . . .  Gastronomia's spinach lasagna is the bomb.

New in November.

It's November already, and yes, it has been ages since I touched this. Matter of fact, it's been VEEEERRRYYY long since I last logged in this Blogger.com ha ha.

Well, since I'm getting myself a break from all of the works that I'm currently doing, I had a thought to myself : "Why shouldn't I blog?" - so here I am, in front of my laptop, listening to John Legend's Maxine, while it's gloomy outside and the room's windows are all fogged up. Today's weather is so nice to cuddle in the blankie and just sleep all day long. Though at first I really wanted to have a short laps in the pool . . . *sigh

So okay, life's pretty amazing - and I can't thank my God enough for it. Moved to a closer place near the city center, with better facilities and is quite bigger than the previous one. Oh, I walk more often since I moved to the place. This is why I love about the place. Makes me to . . . exercise. In a way. For the tan, it's easy. I'll just have a full lulur treatment back home.

Oh! Mommy visited me for a week or so, and helped me moved places. I miss her already. Miss all the yummy eats that we had, ha ha!

I'm currently halfway till the term ends. I just can't really wait to finish this term. Well to be honest, I just can't wait to finish my studies! Ha, ha!

Since I don't know what to write anymore, I'll just end the post right here. Good day!

Next Level.

Hello, hello, hello . . . From Jakarta! (Again, ha!) Will be here until Monday, so I still have a couple of days to eat lots of good and yummy things for the tummy! And really enjoy sleeping in the bedroom of mine! Though it's a mess, I couldn't be bothered to clean the room. Especially the closet. Well, since the brother will be sleeping in mine when I'm back to the Lion city . . . therefore I guess it'll be just a waste of time (and energy) to clean up the room. Ha.

Oh well. Had my Advanced Diploma graduation ceremony yesterday. Not all of the family could come though, I hope they'll come to my degree's graduation on next year's June *a big AMEEEEENN for this :)

The gossip-ful lecturer, and all the interior design grads!

Yay! With the family and my two lovely men :)

Loving every single bits of the days in Jakarta. It's funny that I just had much fun of graduating, but I still have tons of assignments for my degree to be completed. Hmmmm. . . Will be having 9 more weeks of living alone in Singapore till I'm back in my hometown. Can't really wait. Seriously!!! Well to be honest, I just can't wait till my studies are over! HA, HA! 9 more months till my degree is over. Just like waiting for a child to be born.

Goodnight. And try listen to this track from Anastasia. One of my current faves :)

Food, Glorious Food!

Home. The joy of home is the fact that I can afford great hair and massage. Oh and food. Ha ha! So far has been treating me well. I missed all of the home-cooked meals. I missed the bedroom, full equipped with the babymac. Most of all, I missed being surrounded with the family. And yay, my Boggie of course.

Have been spending my quality time with both of my family and my man. Both accompanied with great food. Well, as a normal human being, I love to eat. Especially in this homeland of mine. Love all the bits of exquisite flavors that are being produced to each food. I eat everything. Well, that 'everything' means edible food. Not those weird meats that people would eat in some parts of the world.

For Indonesian dish, my all-time favorite is 'rawon' - been eating this since a child. I wouldn't want to . . . order and compare this dish in other places, cause I know my home makes the best rawon! Ha ha! Oh, I loooove pasta. And Italian. And as well as Japanese. Perhaps my brother is the one who loves Japanese food more than I do. Since a child, mommy has been treating me with different types of food to eat. Therefore my mouth and tummy accepts all kinds of cuisines! Ha. I love Indian food, as well as the middle-eastern cuisines that produces this exotic taste in my mouth.

Well, I know that these pictures aren't the best to point out the dishes that I've just mentioned. But these are just some of my munchies during the week *teehee! Oh and grrrr, I don't really like the new interface of Blogger. This makes me harder to post some pics with good proportions.

Oh well, I'm about to eat some 'buntil', one of my favorite Indonesian dishes as well. This happens to be one of mommy's cravings while I'm in her tummy. My great aunt is delivering it to us today, cause she happens to have the greatest meals as well. Oh I love her food. I'll post some pictures later on.

Perhaps I'll kill some time with continuing my Sims 3 that I happen to re-install it again in this babymac. Ha, ha.

Have a great day, people! Just had to post this.

Half a Day.

This week seems so fast. But anyways, despite all the . . . workloads which brings backaches and headaches, today highlights the whole week. A really valuable 12-hours was spent with my man Boggie! Yay!

Strolled around the Singapore Botanic Gardens which is about 2km-ish from my current house. Walked. Yes, we walked at dawn, people. Ha, ha. Made us some homemade tuna sandwich, complete with eggs and with some salads, for our little breakfast. Oh by the way, I'm currently in the mood for cooking. Yes, Kezia cooks. Ha! It's actually fun, you know. Well, as for me, I'm also curious to find new recipes and actually . . . make it happen. Let's hope that this brings to a great . . . journey. This cooking thing I mean, ha ha.

Well anyways, moving on . . . went to church together! Yay! I miss going to church with my man. Hm, what else . . . oh! Went to see the Merlion. From what I could remember, I think I haven't been to the Merlion Park before. Well, perhaps when I was just 2-3 years old? I don't know, can't remember. Well, since the Merlion is having its birthday, there was some repairs and construction thingy that were going on until . . . time tells. Ha. I didn't know that the Merlion is . . . that small? Hm.

We had a quick visit to the harbor area as well. Was about to ride the cable-cars, but the queue was taking too long! Is it because today's a Sunday? And it's Hari Raya? Oh well, planned it for the next time he'll visit Singapore . . . and that's . . . NEXT WEEK! Hahaha! Happy-happy me! So then, we visited the quays area. Nothing to do much as well, though. Ended the day with some double scoops that consist of Yellow Brick Road and Mocha Mania ice cream of The Daily Scoop. And yes, packed him some tomato-basil spaghetti with some salmon and sauteed capsicums for my man. Yes, my cooking! :)

And now I'm too lazy to move myself from this bed. And I'm super hungry. Though there are rendangs and kering tempe from the kitchen back home, I need to finish my last night's leftovers. Ha, ha. Will finish my . . . assignments afterwards. Yes. Currently doing 3 to be completed in . . . 1-2 weeks time. A hotel project, a shophouse project, and a research report on Rem Koolhaas, ha ha ha. My oh my. I really need a good massage.

I'm sure my God gives me extra strength! Have a great week ahead!

Bubbles.

What do I do when I need to freshen up my mind? Especially during the times when I do my assignments. Oh yes. I blog. Just like now. Ha, ha.

Well anyways, just heard from a friend. That her friend actually . . . lost, like 9kgs, just in a month's time. Wow. Only eats once a day, while filling up her dinner with fruits. Stops at a bus stop away from the actual nearest bus stop of her destination. Yes, her friend walked a lot. And of course, she gets tanner. Hm. Oh well, I can just have my milk bath and lulur in Jakarta every once in a . . . month? Ha, ha! I wish. I'm totally going to follow my friend's friend's method. Ha, ha!

This means . . . I think I have to say goodbye to these mouthwatering and yummy bubble-teas! For . . . a while, I guess.

KOI from here, Woobbee from here, Artease from here, Gong Cha from here

Hope you're craving for some right now. Cause I am.

Goodnight!

Date Night.

Last night, we went to this cozy space called The Straits Canteen, in Dharmawangsa Square. At first, I didn't know what kind of food they were serving, cause from the place . . . it looked so . . . industrial . . . with an eclectic touch of some classics. So therefore, I was assuming that they are one of those European-y/bistro/cafe kinda place. Well, I guess from what I saw from their menu, I guess they somewhat may be classified as a 'kopitiam'. You know, Malay/Singaporean-ish traditional coffee shop thingy. Ha, ha.

Please do mind these photos that were taken from the babyphone, cause the resolutions might not be sharp enough. Oh, and also the fact that I actually took them while seated, cause I wasn't really in the mood to take pictures. (Duh? Like, obviously? I was busy enjoying my Saturday night date with my man *teehee*)

So anyways, hopefully you had a great week. Tomorrow, some new adventure awaits!
