V&R Marriage.

Just found out that Viktor & Rolf have released their newest collection of bridal wear! Found it on their Facebook page here, thanks to Mas Johann. Well, these are just lovely. Simple fine lines, and cuttings. So pure and clean. Love love love.

But I think I would have to think twice if I wear this kind of thing for my wedding. Family, etc. you know. Ha ha ha.

First Week.

It's the first week of the new term, and I don't really have that much work to do. Well, I know this term's works will be . . . a lot. A heck lot. But I just don't know where to start!!! And since I have looooonnnnggggg weekends for the next 11 weeks, a thought of "weekends-in-Jakarta-for-4-days" occurs to me quite often. HA! I so wish I own a private jet.

Thank God that Kakung and Uti visited here for 4 nights, if I'm not mistaken, therefore living a luxurious life for 4 days have helped to overcome my . . . boredom? Ha, ha! Really . . . it's quite boring to live in this city. Yes, this is a small teeny-weenie country/city, and they don't have much of attractions to do. Other than . . . what? Shopping? Eating? And what else, movies? They are all just another expression of "spending". Living in Singapore definitely not a big plan for me for the future, cause hey, I'm a living membrane of my home country! I dedicate my life to God and my country. Oh and plus, there are already other exciting plans that I already put under God's mighty hands since now. *teehee!

Oh well. I'm not blaming that shopping is bad. I've just did some shopping just now. Oh, plus tomorrow. I've just remembered that I need to buy some things for people back home. 3 more sleeps and I'll be in Jakarta in no time. HA HA!! Oh, this is for educational purposes. Not for some . . . 'stress-releasing' and to overcome my 'boredom' kinda thing.

Hm . . . things that happened . . . after Kakung and Uti went back home . . . ? Oh. Visited the Labrador Nature Reserve (I guess people here know this as 'Labrador Park'). It's for my Sustainable Design class. This class brings back memories of my biology class that I had in high school. Really. I thought I won't be touching any 'science material' (in all ways) in the university level again! Especially in a so-called 'design' course. But yes, I was wrong. I was totally wrong. Oh well, but I loved biology. It's the easiest science of all. The study of the living organisms and the environment. So yeah, can't really wait to use those biological terms that are now vague. An interesting class indeed.

Oh well, it's a no-no to talk about . . . 'work' on Sundays. Can't believed that I've just talked about it! Grrrr. Sorry, my bad. Oh well, found out that Lovisa has so many little cute accessories to brighten up my collection! I think I will visit the store again tomorrow.

(You can check their other collections here!)

Well anyways, read some very entertaining posts by my moodbooster Vanessa on her blog! Surely a great way to brighten up this night. Check them out here!

Toodles!

Specials.

Hiya there! Just a little FYI, this study of mine . . . is loaded with LOTS of tasks. Really, I'm telling you. Well anyways, to forget about all the tasks that I need to do, I've just had one of the best week in this first journey of Singapore. Yet.

Have been visited by my lovely Kakung and Uti. Plus the brother came along, and also a great aunt of mine. This means, good food and some extra little shopping for me *teehee! Well, it was really the brother who shopped like a lady. Seriously. And yes, why oh why did I get so tanned. Even the brother is . . . whiter than me. OMG. Really need to have some treatments back home! Every holiday! Ha, ha!

Had some touchy moments with the grands. They surely are the best grandparents in the whole wide world. I really thank my God for trusting them to be a role model for me. I really love my God for putting me in this great family of mine.

And what made this week reeeeaaalllly special was . . . the fact that my special man Boggie was here in Singapore! Though it was only a little bit more than a dozen of hours in the city of lion, I've just had the best first-of-the-month Saturdate with my man!

OH! Had the chance to see the nation's 'rehearsal' (I guess? Or so I thought?) for its National Day Parade on Thursday, and my man was drooling over the airshow. Those fighter aircrafts were flying over our heads, with the . . . really loud sound (ha! I don't really know what's the exact word for this occurrence). He was . . . really excited. Yes, as a #1 fan of Maverick from Top Gun, he was surely . . . thrilled. To actually see one. Right above him. Since you know, in our beloved country, the jets and all that aren't that . . . advanced. Ha, ha.

Well anyways, didn't get the chance to capture those moments in photos. Since they were flying so fast (duh?). So anyways, what to share what to share . . . Oh, yeah. Regarding our last date in Singapore, we had a visit to the Gardens by the Bay during the sunset till the nighttime! Nooooiiiicceee indeed (cause there was just the moon and the stars that were glittering the sky, ha!). Oh! And yes! FIREWORKS! We saw those colorful lights that colors the dark night, which I hadn't had the urge to take some shots. Ha, ha.

OH AND FINALLY! Can't wait till this new baby comes and knocks the door. Oh, my front door in Jakarta by the way. Ha, ha. Nina batik rose from UP shoes! Yay so fun!

August
is being nice, and I hope same goes to you too! Good night!

Stuff That Happened.

HELLO VIRTUAL WORLD!

Long time no . . . . talk, indeed. I've been SUPER BUSY lately and I do really apologize for the whole MIA thing going on, and not posting some new posts or whatever. Well, I hope you're still a fan of my blog . . . HA!

I've been caught up doing my final work for the Institute, all of the final presentation and report that have to be done. Oh by the way, tomorrow I'll be submitting my 153-paged final report - please do pray for me *teehee! Well . . . I would surely love to share an online-version of my report in here (cause it's really cheery and happy and reflects me as a designer - not bragging here, but true. Ha, ha!!!), but the web is toooooo broad and I just don't want to spill my works that easy (you know, privacy kind of stuff, and as well as plagiarism and yadda yadda yadda). Well, I'll think of something, though.

A lot of stuff happened during the past few weeks, and I just miss . . . shopping. YES. I really want to buy a new pair of shoes. . . like, pronto!!! Had a nice lunch with mommy at our usual Bakerzin and finished off with a lovely strawberry soufflé (new menu - worth to try!)

Anyways, after the whole eatery, we went and looked around some shops. Have been alluring to buy . . . SOMETHING (just like the blog's name, HA!). Well, as I'm a diehard shoe-fan, I've been browsing around some shops to buy some new ones for the collection. As time went by . . . I ended up empty handed, cause there were too many choices to pick from! Ha, ha!

Just look at these babies . . . . they're so flirty and I just can't resist. It'll be lovely if these babies magically poofs right in front of my front door!

Shoes are from: Anthropologie, Steve Madden, Zara, Steve Madden found at Nasty Gal, and my most favorite local shoe brand - UP Shoes.

Wow. I'm putting all of these stuff under one post . . . and I've just realized I think this is my very first post with the largest number of labels to be classified. Ha, ha. Oh well, have a great night!

Serendipity.

I'm currently addicted with: plaid rolled-up button down shirts, with colors that are pleasing for the eyes. Perhaps I'm in my preppy mood for the time being. . . Or is it just because it's my B's signature dress-code? *teehee

Actually, we've been somehow dressed-up with the same stuff in every occasion. Like seriously. And it's been occurring quite often - and still counting! We didn't had somewhat an agreement or something every time before we meet, on what to wear or what color will we wear. It surely is . . . something (just like this blog, ha!) No, seriously, it's like . . . serendipity. Well you may think it's cheesy or something, but for us . . . it's somehow . . . magical! *teehee

Seriously. I love that word, though. Serendipity.

Discoveries.

Another new finding on the internet! A Beautiful Mess, a pretty lifestyle blog by Elsie Larson caught my attention this time. I knew her for the first time while I was flicking through some Popular Photos on Instagram, and obviously hers was on the page! I love her blog so much! So many things that we can do by ourselves! And her style is so cute! There are lots of easy DIYs, and not to mention its prettiness! Oh and plus! There are also simple yummy treats that are easy to make!

Oh, found out that she is also running her own fashion line, Red Velvet. And these are just some of my favorites that I reaaaaaaallly love!

A click is a must! All photos are from her blog and her fashion line :)

Neon.

Bought a cheery mood-booster for the phone! And the price actually turned out to be almost the same as a leather-y case which you could purchase from an Apple store. Well, I think everything that you have should reflect who you are, therefore I purchased this neon AND it actually matched my wallet that I haven't been using for quite some time *teehee*

I've always love how Kate Spade uses catchy and inspiring wordings on all of her collections, and as well how well she combines different colors into one piece. Should've bought her "The Guide to Living Colorfully" book!

Oh, and yes. I really want a Bao Bao. Colors or monochrome, I really don't mind! Ha, ha.

Corked.

Can't believe that I haven't put a single post up this month! Yes, I've been quite busy lately. Doing some stuff for my portfolio and also some cooking were going on during the week. Therefore I've been MIA. Ha, ha.

Well . . . I don't have an exact juicy topic to discuss for the time being . . . Hm . . . Oh yes, I've been busy rearranging and filtering my Instagram feed! Well, please do check my feed through your iDevice, or even from the web (via Inkstagram), here! Oh and by the way, a little newbie for the collection!

Nine, Ten, Eleven.

Had a wedding to attend and a friend was giving birth. 9.10.11 was surely a good day. Weddings and babies make me happy. Somehow.

Being colorful is really cheery, inside and out! But these 12cm Biyan heels were killing me. Slowly.

Clogs Crave.

So, okay. I'm back. Did a little revision of my office project and some little ideas jotted down on the Illustrator, for the name card that should represent ourselves. Ha! Yes, it's a part of my Portfolio Design class. And of course, it is fun. I repeat, it. . . is. . . FUN!

Anyways, I've been thinking about . . . the fact that I haven't been shopping much. It's kind of unusual to see myself without having the urge to buy something. Though there were lots of tempts that were caused by the eyes, but I just haven't got the . . . mood, to buy them. I've been saving money for the future, ha ha! Every extras that I got, I straightly save them. And of course, a minimum of 10% goes to GOD first. Yes. I know. It's not what a girl my age would do. You know. Saving money, for the future, yadda yadda yadda. But yes of course, we need to cheer ourselves up. Enjoy what we deserve, you know. . .

And so . . . I've been flicking through the web. And got stuck to one of my favorite online shops, locally. In my opinion, Kloom has the best clogs in the country. Design wise, and price wise. I'm glad that Indonesia has their own Swedish Hasbeens! Ha ha!

These are their premium collection, which I think are uh-may-zing! I could simply spot my own country in these designs.

Now . . . which one should I choose to be the third Kloom of mine . . .
